About Us

PDF Underground is not a company. It's a dead drop for knowledge that wasn't supposed to leave the building.

The Problem

Most of what you read online has been optimized — for clicks, for ads, for algorithms. The signal-to-noise ratio is approaching zero. Search engines return AI-generated summaries of AI-generated articles citing AI-generated sources. The information supply chain is compromised.

Meanwhile, the research that actually matters — the kind that makes institutions nervous and shareholders uncomfortable — gets buried in paywalled journals, redacted reports, and corporate NDAs.

What We Do

We find it. We compile it. We publish it. No editorial board. No advertisers to appease. No algorithm deciding what you should think.

Every document in our archive is researched, written, and verified by independent analysts. No AI-generated filler. No recycled blog posts dressed up as “intelligence reports.” Primary sources. Original analysis. Uncomfortable conclusions.

Who We Are

A distributed network of researchers, former analysts, and subject-matter specialists who got tired of watching important information disappear behind institutional walls. We have no office. No board of directors. No venture capital asking when we'll pivot to SaaS.

We fund our work through document sales. You pay for the research. That's the entire business model.

Notice

We don't publish leaks or classified material. We publish original research that uses publicly available — but deliberately obscured — information. There's a difference. Our legal team knows it. So do we.
